Did you know?

Studies dictate an individual needs extra nutrients to ensure optimum health.

Cough syrup as shown lasts up to 4 weeks in the refrigerator.  Then discard and remake when necessary. ( honey is a healer and helps to coat the bronchial and onions are healing to the bronchial region and esophagus)

Studies dictate the need of extra nutrients to provide optimum health.  Studies also dictate there are many nutrient destroyers causing headaches, insomnia, irritability, depression, and that lower resistance to disease.  Examples of nutrient destroyers:

Drugs:  Block nutrients absorption, speed excretion or interfere with metabolism.

Drinking alcohol:  Depending on the amount can possibly throw digestive system into reverse.

Canning:  Heat and water can destroy Vitamin C and B, (Thiamine).

Food Processing and preparation:  All are greatly reduced in their nutrient content.

Pollutants:  Supplements A & C & E will help protect from pollution.

Additives:  Are food antagonists (nutrient destroyers) Studies show nitrates and nitrites can be blocked by taking 2000 mg of Vitamin C.

Diets:  Low - calorie diets do not get enough vitamins and minerals.

Smoking:  Smoking drains the body for every one cigarette = app 25mg of vit C and studies dictate smoking takes 10 yrs off your life as a whole.

Coffee:  Coffee flushes out nutrients.

Stress:  Stress can burn up Vitamin C faster and causes a nutritional need of B vitamins, B5 in particular and an increased demand of minerals.

Exercise:  Sweating during exercise increases the need for riboflavin (B2) and Pyridoxine (B6).  These and others can make you more fit and give more endurance, strength and stamina.

Did you know that studies dictate the need to take supplements to help make up for those nutrients lost through:

  • Poor digestion and absorption of nutrients.
  • Because of all the refined and processing.
  • Because of improper cooking methods.
  • Because of imbalances- excess of some and lack of some.
  • Because of the interferences and utilization of pesticides, drugs, alcohol, oral contraceptives, cosmetic sprays, additives, preservatives etc...
  • Because of the harvesting of unripe fruits and vegetables.
  • Improper storage of foods.  (gaseous rooms and exposure to oxygen which burns nutrients).
  • Lack of variety in the diet.
  • Depletion of nutrients due to physical and mental stress.
  • Soil nutrient depletion due to poor agricultural practices and the use of chemical fertilizers instead of good old manure.
  • Excess sugar intake
  • Because of "Biochemical individuality"
  • For the prevention of marginal nutrient deficiencies.
  • For the elimination of toxic metals and chemicals.
  • To strengthen the immune system to build up resistance to disease and infection
  • For recovery from surgery, stress, illness, and physical exertion.
  • To  make up for the reduced food intake when dieting.
  • To help you think more clearly and control mood swings
  • To help protect the body's cells from oxidation (ageing)
